During the past 24 hours, solar activity was low. Eight active sunspot regions were on the visible disk without any M-class or above flare produced. The solar wind speed slowly decreased to about 410 km/s. The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux at geosynchronous orbit maintained at minor storm levels.

Within the next three days, solar activity is expected to be low to moderate with chances for M-class flares. The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels on 8 Apr, and active to minor storm levels on 9-10 Apr as the arrival of a recurrent coronal hole high speed stream. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux at geosynchronous orbit will maintain at minor storm levels on 8-9 Apr.

During the last week, solar activity was high on 30 Mar, moderate on 28 Mar and 2 Apr, and low on other time. 13 active sunspot regions (AR4398-AR4410) were on the visible disk with 1 X1.4 and 2 M-class flares produced. No solar proton event occurred. The F10.7 index decreased from 162 sfu to 140 sfu. Due to the effect of the coronal hole high speed stream, the solar wind speed reached a peak value of about 450 km/s and the geomagnetic field reached and active levels for 6 hours on 29-30 Mar. Due to the effects of the CME on 30 Mar and a recurrent coronal hole high speed stream, the solar wind speed reached a peak value of about 700 km/s and the geomagnetic field reached moderate storm levels for 3 hours, minor storm levels for 15 hours, and active levels for 6 hours on 2 Apr. The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled for the rest of the time. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux at geosynchronous orbit was at minor storm levels on 27 Mar.

Due to the effects of the CME on 1 Apr and a recurrent coronal hole high speed stream, the geomagnetic field is expected to reach isolated active or minor storm levels on 3-4 Apr. Due to the effect of another recurrent coronal hole high speed stream, the geomagnetic field is expected to reach isolated active or minor storm levels on 9 Apr and will be quiet to unsettled for the rest of the time.

		The magnetic map of the activity area is generated based on the full day longitudinal magnetic field data of the Huairou Solar Observatory in Beijing.				This full-disk Hα image of sun is observed with the 20cm Full-Disc Hα Telescope located at Huairou Solar Observatory Station of Beijing in China.



		Observatories of cosmic ray in SEPC include Beijing station monitoring Neutron intensity variations and Guangzhou station monitoring the intensity variations of East, West, South, North and Vertical components of muon.				This model is an improved geomagnetic K-index current reporting model based on the evaluation of Takahashi, a commonly used international Kp index current reporting model, and its application to Chinese geomagnetic stations.
