OVERVIEW & FORECAST

During the past 24 hours, solar activity was very low. Three active regions were observed on the visible disk, no C-class and above flares produced. The solar wind speed decreased to about 600 km/s due to the persistent effect of the coronal hole high speed stream, while the geomagnetic field was at active levels for 15 hours. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux at geosynchronous orbit reached minor storm levels.
